As comfortable as us guys are in a sweatshirt and jeans we can't bring ourselves to throw them away because that would mean having to go and buy another pair. Inevitably, at some point, when you least expect it, you're going to have to attend a bit of a do.

Now, 'the do' is one of those double-edged sword kind of problems. On one hand, they're quite good fun and you can usually eat and drink as much as you want and you won't have to pay a cent of your own money! On the other hand, the invitation will usually say something about 'formal dress,' which doesn't mean a sweatshirt and the jeans you use to wash the dog in.

This kind of do is the kind of do you'll have to show up to ... Wearing a suit.

Borrowing your dad's suit wouldn't be a smart move because it's probably brown, and in the unlikely event your dad is karl lagerfield or calvin klein, dad's aren't famous for being fashionable either. In fact wearing your dad's suit is going to make you look like a goose.
